Get answers to common questions about Lash Tinting.
Tint typically lasts four to six weeks, fading gradually as lashes shed naturally. Longevity depends on hair growth cycle, aftercare, and exposure to oils or exfoliating products. Touch-ups every 4–6 weeks keep color fresh.
Yes when performed by trained technicians using salon-grade pigments. We conduct patch tests and advise contact lens removal during treatment. If you have recent eye infections, allergies, or eye surgery, consult us first to determine suitability.
Yes. Tinting darkens each lash from root to tip, increasing perceived thickness and definition. It doesn't add volume like extensions but visually enhances lash presence, especially for light-colored lashes or sparse mascara use.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and avoid waterproof mascara for several days. Bring a list of eye medications or allergies. If you wear contacts, bring case to remove them. Avoid lash lifts or tinting within two weeks prior.
Side effects are rare but can include mild irritation or allergic reaction. We perform patch tests and use gentle formulas. If you experience redness, itching, or swelling after treatment, contact us immediately and discontinue use of eye products.
Avoid eye makeup for at least 24 hours to allow dye to set and reduce irritation risk. Afterward, you can resume mascara and eyeliners, though many clients skip mascara because tint provides enough definition.
