Get answers to common questions about Side-Burns Waxing.

Most clients report brief, manageable discomfort during sideburn waxing that fades quickly. Pain level varies with sensitivity and experience of the technician. We use warm wax and calming techniques; applying ice or soothing serum after reduces redness and eases sensitivity.

For best results, hair should be about a quarter-inch (6–7 mm), roughly two to three weeks of growth. Shorter hairs may be missed, while much longer strands can be trimmed. Your technician will assess and trim if needed before waxing.

Topical retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, and other acne treatments can increase skin sensitivity. Please stop such products at least five to seven days before waxing and inform your technician. We’ll evaluate skin condition and may recommend postponing treatment to avoid irritation.

Results vary but usually last three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and individual hormones. Regular waxing gradually prolongs intervals as regrowth becomes finer. We’ll recommend a schedule tailored to your needs to maintain a clean, polished sideburn line.

Mild redness, swelling or follicle irritation can occur for a day or two. Apply cool compresses, gentle aloe or anti-inflammatory serum and avoid heavy makeup, exfoliation, or sun exposure for twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Contact us if prolonged irritation or bumps appear.

Yes — schedule at least forty-eight hours before an event to allow redness to settle and ensure a clean finish. For very sensitive skin, book three to five days in advance. We can advise timing when you book so results look flawless.
